PomPoot Posted May 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2022 Has anyone actually used an ID NOW covid test, which is one of the three tests available at Walgreen's, to meet HAL requirements? I want to know if it was accepted and if there was any hassle.
NCTribeFan Posted May 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2022 They accept any tests provided by a pharmacy or clinic, as well as the proctored self-tests. Pretty sure their FAQ section lays it all out. I've used the "12-hr response" test at Walgreens several times since November and have had results in under a couple of hours. Plan on using them again next Monday. SueMo Posted May 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 24, 2022 I used the ID Now test on a HAL cruise in January. No problems.
idiebabe Posted May 24, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2022 I've also used the Rapid ID Now (NAAT) Test at Walgreens on three Cruises. Will be going again for it on Thursday. Results back within 1/2 hour.
blueexpedition29 Posted May 24, 2022 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2022 yes - it is accepted. FYI all - it appears that walgreens has now changed its scheduling to only allow tests to be scheduled 3 days out ( not 7).
PomPoot Posted May 28, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted May 28, 2022 Thanks all--one more question: HAL's website says I must test within 3 days of embarking. I am embarking in Amsterdam on June 5, so I take it that time differences don't matter, and I can get my test at any time on June 2 and it will suffice. Is that your experience?
