Non-players also use it as a smoking lounge since the open deck can be oppressively hot or cold this week. Note: if you are a video poker player (none) or looking for newer games, not on this ship. It was still configured for Asia (all tables, a few slots). Some tables have been replaced with tables to smoke at.

LaCal Posted June 3, 2022 #112 Share Posted June 3, 2022 In Juneau we did a whale watching excursion through Alaska Tails on Viator…..Saved a lot compared to Royals prices and saw over 7 whales Went off the ship early and had lunch at Tracy’s crab shack…..Great lunch and got the combo of King Crab, Crab soup, 4 mini crab cakes and 1 extra Soup and we split it all….Really Good 😜…..They have good beers as well…..it gets busy so allow extra time

Cruiser1976 Posted June 3, 2022 #117 Share Posted June 3, 2022 If you wouldn't mind, can you post a copy of the dreaded bag tag departure form with the options to select? I have a group going soon and trying to give them a heads up on what to select in order to meet for the ground transportation option scheduled when we get back to Seattle. Thanks! Rare BirdTravels Posted June 3, 2022 Author #118 Share Posted June 3, 2022 (edited) Dawes Glacier, not so much. The Bird has been blessed with glorious weather on this cruise. But they has resulted in a lot of caving at the glacier, filling the water with ice. The Captain maneuvered as close as he could, to provide passengers with a glimpse of the glacier. The Dawes Glacier way off in the distance. Zoomed in, you can see a tiny piece of the great glacier. The Glacier Explorer take you where the Quantum won’t. Right up close and personal with the glacier. Hard to see, but the waters closer to the glacier is filled with ice. Not good for Azipods or thrusters (unless you want to walk home from Juneau).
