Refunds of shore excursion bookings?

I am used to Holland America's policy of refunding booked shore excursions relatively quickly when cancelled well before sailing. Perhaps stupidly, I assumed Princess would be the same. I have cancelled two shore excursions that I pre-booked with Princess and I have not been refunded for those bookings. Will I be reimbursed or does that money become OBC?

I discovered one of our pre-booked excursions was cancelled when I saw the refund on my credit card statement! My guess is they will refund you in the same way you paid (i.e. refund in form of OBC if paid with OBC). 
 

I can’t speak to the specific timeline of when I received my refund after the excursion was canceled, but it couldn’t have been more than a couple of days.

My refunds recently have taken about a week to show up on my cc.  These are ones I prepurchased with my cc and I cancelled them.

It really depends on how busy they are processing them.
