Info incorrect on app??

We booked a Panama Canal cruise for Nov 9-19.  I was looking at the app today and noticed the app shows the trip ends on Nov 20 and not Nov 19.    Of course, we already have our return flight home on the 19th. I feel sure the confirmation paperwork I received after paying the deposit showing the 19th is correct, BUT it certainly caused me to be concerned so I turned the problem over to my travel agent to verify the dates for me.

I have read on cruise critic how the app is full of mistakes which is sad. Has anyone else seen incorrect travel dates on app?

If you are on the Eurodam it is a November 9 to 20 cruise.  I seem to recall another poster mentioning that there canal cruise was extended by a day.  I just confirmed dates on the HAL site.

Would they change the end date without notifying my travel agent knowing the change could cause the passenger a great big problem with transportation home?  Just WOW!

I’d like to think your TA would have been notified.  They may not have seen or sent you the update.  One reason why I deal with HAL directly.

Thank goodness I have an agent who has never dropped the ball with any communication from the cruise line. Even though it would be nice having an extra day added to the end of my cruise, I will not be happy about what I have to go through time and money wise in dealing with the airline changes.

I’d log into your account on HAL and confirm the itinerary on your booking.  That would be the source of truth.

I will do that. Agent will also contact HAL today. Hopefully, there will be agreement somewhere.

Agent contacted HAL and the cruise line indeed had added a day to the cruise so it ends on November 20 instead of November 19.  HAL did not inform agent about the change.  I'm glad I found itthe change before it was too late.  Thankfully, the airline gave me an even exchange for changing the date and we got the same flights.  The dates for two of the ports were swapped and the times were changed for 3 of the ports which didn't affect us, but I'm sure it affected some as the times in ports were shortened.  I just hope everyone who booked this cruise a year in advance has been notified of the changes.

Thanks for everyone's advice.  My advice is to check your cruise information on a regular basis so there are no surprises.

Calm seas for everyone!
