Princess Free Shuttle in Boston?

I believe I read that in the past, there was a free shuttle from the Boston cruise pier to the downtown, Freedom trail area. Can anyone who has docked in Boston with Princess verify that?

We have been to Boston Many Many times and have taken a Shuttle if you wish to call it from the Black Falcon Terminal which is what the Cruise Ship Terminal is called.

 

We sail with Cunard but all the ships dock there. Our Shuttle which is the same for all ships take passengers to a drop off point which is the same as the pickup point.

 

It is located in the Civic Center area where there is a Large Outdoor Shopping Center by Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market ( which is a very large Food Court.)

 

Believe if right, about a 10 minutes ride from the Port across to the Civic Center.

Does RCCL do this also? We are going this October, and I don't think I remember that from our prior cruise several years ago. I know CCL did not.

We were on Princess a few years ago - shuttle in Boston from port to town was not free.

WE walked  - it was about 3 miles one way.
