How early to book a St Pete tour?

I've been reading about delays in response time from RO and Denrus and was wondering how far in advance to book a tour.

Me, I am obsessive complusive and would like to book now for early Aug, however, I am having difficulty convincing my cruise companions. Am hoping that either 1) you will ease my concerns or 2) give me ammunition to get them motivated!

Thanks.

I would definitely book now. I booked our June cruise in November and got everything just the way we wanted it. How is it possible to book too early? Especially if you have a group going or you want a special package.

Go for it!

Do not wait with booking. St.Petersburg is a very popular destination in summer for cruise ships. Look how many of them will visit it everyday. And very few of the cruise passengers are going to explore the city on thier own because of the visa restrictions. So if you wait too long all the good guides will be booked and you can get only who's left if any.
