Rare A Tucson Guy Posted June 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2022 I just saw that SAS airlines may likely go on strike 6-29. We are flying SAS Chicago to Copenhagen on 7-2. Is anybody else flying SAS soon? Our tickets are through SS Air, so hopefully, they will be on it!!
Rare jtm1 Posted June 26, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2022 We are on the same cruise and were also flying SAS from Chicago to Copenhagen (although on 7/1). I had booked my flights on my own and was able to change to Swiss Air through Zurich, not ideal but the situation at SAS does not look promising. We also absolutely need to get home after the cruise and had concern that even if SAS got us there would they get us back. Admittedly a first world problem, Jim
Rare A Tucson Guy Posted June 26, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted June 26, 2022 IF the strike happens, this will be a good test of SS Air. I am sure they will come through!! I hope I will not have to eat my words.
Rare ggo85 Posted June 27, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 27, 2022 We’re on this cruise but doing United and Lufthansa, so hopefully ok. I wanted to book SAS - now glad I didn’t. Not that I’m smart, just lucky.

Did SAS do it for you?
Rare jtm1 Posted June 27, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 27, 2022 No, I cancelled SAS and booked Swiss. Both transactions on the respective airline web sites. SAS was flexible about giving a full refund under the circumstances so that helped. Jim
