Cruise lady 321 Posted July 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2022 Hi all , just booked a last minute Iona week -16/7/22. Have just discovered that last minute brings its challenges- no parking available with all usual companies! Has anyone had good experiences of using ‘on-drive’ parking spot services ? Cheers
jsn55 Posted July 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2022 Might try to find a local hotel that offers a parking package ... a room and parking while on the cruise. Prevalent here in the US, stress-free and very convenient. Take a taxi to the pier, or maybe the hotel has a shuttle.

Rare John Bull Posted July 1, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 1, 2022 Since you ‘re coming from the west, Holiday Extras offering at Marchwood is tolerably convenient. Established and respected organisation. Shuttle-bus service to the ship included. https://www.holidayextras.com/southampton-port-parking.html JB 🙂

Thanks for your suggestion re hotel/shuttle - unfortunately we’re unable to stay overnight due visitors staying with us until morning of embarkation! sddsddean Posted July 3, 2022 #8 Share Posted July 3, 2022 I remember last year, a lot of people were recommending using the multi storey car park in West Quay. No problems leaving the car there for 7 or 14 days, but I can't find the posts now. Perhaps JB could flesh this out a bit more as he is a local! JB...the floor is yours!!
