Carnival Embarkation Day Wedding?

Recommended Posts

I tried searching but haven’t found the right combination of search terms. My fiancé and I are planning a wedding on Carnival Spirit in December of ‘23. We’re planning on embarkation day so that his kids and parents can be there without having to take the cruise (grandparents will take them for a week.) Also my brother will be flying in to give me away.

Has anyone else done the embarkation day option? How does that all work? Did you have time to get your hair/makeup done on board?

Are you flying in for the cruise/wedding? If so I would try a Google search of hair salons within the area you will be at, then call a few who have good reviews and explain what you need. Perhaps you can do a trial run with whomever you choose beforehand, and then the day of the wedding have them do your hair and makup before you leave for the port. I would definitely arrive a few days in advance. With flights being cancelled all the time you don't want to take any chaces of being late or held up.
