MsSoCalCruiser Posted July 5, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2022 Hello. I usually cruise with Princess and I am so confused (please be nice, lol). Yesterday, I booked two connecting Promenade cabins on the Navigator of the Seas for a much needed girl’s cruise. I’ve been searching on the Internet and YouTube for needed answers but I still have a few questions. Do we leave out of the Port of LA or Long Beach? Is there a charge for Room Service? If so, is the charge per person or per order (4 people would be on one order)? If there is a charge does that include the tip or do I also tip in addition (I want to make sure). Food Allergies: I have a rare dairy allergy. I mentioned my allergy to the person when I made the booking but so far that was it. On Princess I also have to send in an email to the dietary department and also list my allergy on the their app. When I arrive at the MDR or Buffet I then have to speak to the chef and the dining room manager. Do you cruise with Royal and have food allergies? Entertainment: Are there any don’t miss shows on the Navigator of the Seas? Do we need to book anything in advance or just show up? Are there movies shown outside? Are there movies on demand in the cabin? Do we need to make an account in the casino or just open our purses for the money to fly out? 🤣🤣🤣 This is our first girls trip since Covid and I want everything to be as perfect as possible (totally perfect is never possible). I have sailed three times since the restart with Princess. I did test positive for Covid the day after my last cruise which was 14 wonderful days on the brand new Discovery Princess. neverbeenhere Posted July 5, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2022 from Royal Blog (Not official royal product) Royal Caribbean room service (aside from complimentary continental breakfast) comes at a cost of $7.95 USD per order, per room. This is a fixed-cost, so you will pay the same fee whether ordering one dish for one person in a cabin or ten separate items for four people in a cabin. An 18% gratuity is added on top of the $7.95 fee for a total cost of around $9.40. In addition, while tipping is not required, it’s customary to give a small cash tip ($1-5) to the crew member delivering room service to your room.

Also, there will be one main show called “Showgirls, Past, Present and Future. It was good as well. 1 hour ago, MsSoCalCruiser said: Are there movies shown outside? Are there movies on demand in the cabin? Don’t count on this. The outdoor screen has been in bad need of repair since earlier this year. As of a few weeks ago it was still needed to be repaired. If you like watching everything in green then you will enjoy it.🙂 Do we need to make an account in the casino or just open our purses for the money to fly out? 🤣🤣🤣 Just feed money into the machines.
