I got FLL Renaissance on Priceline for May!

Just wanted to share this in case anyone else is looking for a room in May.

 

We are sailing on the Caribbean Princess on May 13, and are flying in the night before.

 

My sister and I just tried Priceline and both got the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale for $69 a night plus tax. It is on Marriott's site for over $300 a night!! This is listed on Priceline as a 4 star in Downtown Ft. Flauderdale.

 

Hope it helps someone else get a deal. At least Priceline is still working!!

Sure.... It was Downtown Fort Lauderdale, 4 star. There is only one 4 star listed in this area...which is the Renaissance. Good luck to you!

Congratulations on your winning bid! I will also be on the May13th sailing of the Caribbean Princess and will be staying in Fort Lauderdale pre-cruise. I am hoping to get a hotel through Priceline. I was just wondering if $69.00 was your first bid or did you start with a lower bid?

People have gotten the Renaissance for as little as $50. I would start there and use free rebids to increase in $5 increments.

Maddi: $69 was my first bid. The room was going for over $340 a night for the date I needed on the Marriott website.

 

I did try a few weeks ago around $50 but didn't get anything. Then yesterday I figured I'd give it a shot. Good luck to you!

Thanks for posting this info... we are trying to secure Renaissance for April 21 and have not seen any winning bids... will give it a try...Susan are you reading this? :p

I just tried to get this hotel on priceline for June, but I didn't have any luck. Glad you were able to get it. I guess I'll keep trying.
