Port or starboard side cabin for southern Caribbean

Recommended Posts

What do you want to see?  Do you want to look at the port while docked?  Select Starboard (not a guarantee, but the majority of the time they'll dock on the Starboard side of the ship).  If you want the chance to see land while you cruise by, look at the itinerary and figure out what side of the ship you want.

We are  trying to choose between cabins on port or  starboard side for the Allure Aruba/ Curaçao itinerary . Which is preferable ?

we went on that ship and itinerary early June, and if you want more shade on the balcony, choose the right side (starboard?). We were in 8546 - a great cabin. We had a lot of shade - perfect for using the balcony, and our cabin attendant was great.

We were facing the land in all three ports.

I like the starboard side too just for this reason.  I love watching them docking the ships in port, watching the lines being thrown out and being secured to the docks.  Is it 100% of the time, no, but it is more often than not.  Enjoy.
