Applied this morning, but can this be combined with OBC already received based on other promos? We already have $300 OBC as a result of other offers/promos.

I guess we'll see when/if they respond to our request..

It can indeed be added to current OBC.  I added this for all of my future cruises for 2022/2023 even though I already had FCD OBC and early booking OBC.

I have 2 bookings with HAL. I used the link and I submitted for both last week and haven't heard on either.

Update: Both requests approved. HA emailed notification and updated booking confirmations this morning. Thank you OP.

Thanks, and you're right. We received the additional $100 OBC this morning! 🙂

Related question about OBC. If the total OBC we have is is broken out and applied to my wife and I separately on our booking confirmation (i.e., $250 under my name and $150 under her name), and we're both on the same credit card/account, does it matter which of us charges to the account total?

In other words, if my wife charges more than the $150 listed under her name, does it then debit from the credit under my name (i.e., the total amount on our combined account)?

Hope this makes sense.. 🤔

I have never traveled with two credit cards for a stateroom.  With a single credit card for the stateroom, all OBC/charges are listed by the name of the person earning/charging and a single running balance due.

Thanks, and if I understand correctly, with a single CC all charges to the account will debit the total OBC amount, regardless of how it is assigned to each guest. Do I have that right?

That is correct.  Note that any charges at the Casino cannot be covered by OBC that you did not purchase.

OBC that you have not purchased is "use it or lose it".  This might be the case if large costs such as crew incentives are part of a Have It All package and are not deducted from your OBC available.  In this case, a visit to the Shops for a purchase on the last cruise night is a good way to eliminate any credit balance on your ship statement.

  • Thanks 1

Just something to ponder and something I admit I struggle with at times.

COSETTE:  I just got free french fries from the fast-food joint.

.

MICHAEL:  I just went there and I had to pay!  Why did you get it free?  Is it because I'm white?  Is it because I'm male?  Is it because I'm American?

COSETTE:  Why can't you just be happy for somebody else?

My husband submitted for the Military OBC on Thursday afternoon last week and we noticed today it is on the PDF file of the Booking Confirmation page 1 under Onboard Credit.  We didn't get an email confirmation.  Thanks HAL!

Yes, that is where all OBC is noted, on the booking confirmation under OBC. But didn't the PDF file come attached to an email? That is the 'confirmation email' people are referring to.

I only got the PDF Booking Confirmation file for those approved cruises. No separate emails.
