Can anyone clear up a question with NCL & NYC priority embarkation.  When we made our reservation for a (SP) family suite on the Joy. our PCP told us we get both priority embarkation & Debarkation.  Now ive read thats only for Haven or platinum & above .   I cant get an answer from NCL they keep changing the answer to no, maybe, not on weekends? its crazy

thanks

We were on the May 29th sailing of the Joy. The Lattitudes/Priority Line was following the Covid-19 paperwork check. There were 2 snakes with the entrance to snakes in center. Lattitudes/Priority, with sign on left. There was a rep checking boarding passes with a list of eligible passengers and they let us through. If not, you went right for normal check in. Make sure your Boarding Pass says Priority. We were then directed to the Lattitudes/Priority holding section and were second on the ship at 11:00 following special needs even though we were given #28 on the Covid-19 line.

Did you have access to Priority because of Lattitudes level or stateroom?

As a Joy suite passenger, it does come with priority embarkation.  However, as past NYC passengers have stated, the terminal employees are not acknowledging it.   NCL is well aware of the issue and said they were trying to "fix" the situation.   I have not read any recent updates, so maybe things have gotten better.    When we sail as a suite passenger in September, I will take Mike A's above advise and keep showing the priority marked on my boarding pass.

We had purchased Priority Access which came with Priority Embarkation and Debarkation. The key here is the boarding pass needs to say “Priority” on it. Yours should also. The other is once you get to the Latitudes/Priority line the gatekeeper will cross reference your party with their list which you should be on. Do not take no for an answer. Make the representative speak to a supervisor if you have an issue.
