Fort Lauderdale, FL (July 14, 2022)  American Queen Voyages, part of the Hornblower® Group, is launching a new City Stay Package in 2023, giving guests the option to enjoy a post-cruise experience in Vancouver and Victoria, B.C.. The Official Vancouver and Victoria City Stay Package is available after Ocean Victory™ sailings from Sitka to Vancouver, allowing guests to explore the lively downtown scene of Vancouver, the vibrant Victoria Butterfly Gardens and much more.

Discerning travelers can soak in the sights of Vancouver through historic Chinatown, world-renowned Stanley Park, and trendy Gastown. Each part of Vancouver offers something different, delivering a more well-rounded view of all the bustling city has to explore.

“Our inclusive pre-cruise hotel night has always drawn guests to deeply discover the embarkation city of their journey,” said Isis Ruiz, Chief Commercial Officer, American Queen Voyages. “We are glad to grow these Ocean Victory voyage experiences with City Stay Package offerings, and magnificent British Columbia is a perfect setting.”

The Official Vancouver and Victoria City Stay Package is available as a three-day, two-night post-cruise option for guests booked on Ocean Victory on July 18; August 8, 29; September 19, 2023. The City Stay package boasts a premium hotel stay at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, B.C., with daily breakfast; Sights of the City: Vancouver Highlights tour, a choice of Butchart Gardens Butterfly Gardens Tour or Victoria Hop-On Hop-Off Tour, and complimentary hotel/airport transfer from the Fairmont Empress Hotel. The post-cruise City Stay Package also includes a local concierge, an American Queen Voyages representative who is prepared to escort guests on the ferry to Victoria, B.C.

“American Queen Voyages’ Ocean Victory has showcased British Columbia throughout her inaugural season, and we are thrilled guests will have the opportunity to extend their stay exploring Greater Victoria in 2023.” said Paul Nursey, President and CEO, Destination Greater Victoria.

Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, is known for having an abundance of activities for adventurers. Between the extraordinary Butchart Gardens and the paradise that is the Victoria Butterfly Gardens, there is no shortage of astounding views. With the hop-on-hop-off tour, guests have their pick of experiences.

Sailing 12 and 13-day itineraries and calling on  11 and 12-ports, Ocean Victory offers an up close Alaskan expedition experience, bringing travelers into boutique ports and the Alaskan wilderness. With the vessel's seasoned expedition team, explorers can embark on Zodiac tours and kayak adventures through Alaska's Inside Passage. Back on the ship's observation platform, the expedition team's knowledge comes to life in front of the guest's eyes as California Polytechnic State University students conduct marine research. With the vessel only able to accommodate 186 guests, all onboard will intimately experience Alaska.

Ocean Victory sails between Sitka, Alaska, and Vancouver, B.C., on 13-day expeditions, visiting 12 remote and unique ports along Alaska's Inside Passage. Ports of call include: a pre-cruise hotel stay in Sitka, Alaska; Kake and Frederick Sound; Endicott Arm; Tracy Arm; Petersburg; Waterfall Coast (Gut Bay); Wrangell; Misty Fjords; Ketchikan, Kynoch Inlet; Canadian Inside Passage; and Vancouver, B.C.
