End of the dslr

Saw an interesting article in Endgadget about why Canon and Nikon are giving up on the DSLR.

 

I had reflex cameras before I got my first Nikon SLR back in 1960. Continued with Nikon which got heavier and my wrist and body got weaker.

 

Read Dave’s article on the Sony A6000 and switched. Now I have a Sony A6700 and a A6400! But here I stop (unless a Sony A7000 turns out too tempting!)

Since Canon and Nikon developed a completely separate mirrorless mount, I believe they can't split precious R&D dollars between ML and DSLR mounts.  ML seems to be the future.
