It’s a shame too as we loved to do our morning walk and then sit outside the bagel place and enjoy our pre-cruise coffee and tea. We are at Marriott Beach Towers (or something like <) We've always done 17th street area and now we're adding an extra sun/beach day at this location. Pretty sure we'll opt for Italian but could be seafood 🙂 Either way.. We enjoy the ride 🙂
Vanna Ocean Posted July 29, 2022 #27 Share Posted July 29, 2022 (edited) Are there any good restaurants or cafes close by that serve breakfast? If there are long lines for the Embassy Suite breakfast, I would just as soon go someplace and buy breakfast - if it's good. Thanky. cinderellen Posted July 29, 2022 #28 Share Posted July 29, 2022 We’ve stayed here many times, most recently earlier this year. We did notice many areas needing some refreshing, but not horrible. The staff was wonderful and you can’t beat the location.
LeeW Posted July 29, 2022 #29 Share Posted July 29, 2022 Stayed there many times. DW picks up pecan ring at Publix. Has been asked many times where it is on buffet. Lots of folks hit Dunkin Donuts across 17th.
dazey Posted July 29, 2022 #30 Share Posted July 29, 2022 We stayed at the Renaissance in April and walked to Einstein's Bagel. Very enjoyable and that was all we needed before a week of dining onboard. We usually eat at Boatyard which is very close to the Renaissance Hotel but may check out Bistro Mezzaluna in December. Renaissance is a good location to shopping, restaurants and water taxi but their rooms are rather plain. We had stayed at the Hilton Marina in the past but found it to be unorganized. The food and staff at their outdoor bar were poor(the bar inside is no longer there). The restaurant near the Hilton called Grille 66 was excellent but it no longer there. Times change and we just have to move on.
