New Cruise Terminal

We decided to walk from the Holiday Inn to the Mayflower terminal for our cruise this week, it was a lovely day and we could see the ship from our room so decided to give it a go. On our way to Mayflower the route was cut off by a new cruise terminal next to dock gate ten. It is in-between the City cruise terminal and Mayflower terminal but is still docking cargo ships at the moment.

 

Thought you might want to see the new Horizon Terminal.

We left from Mayflower and came back to QE2, was full this morning!

I've done two disembarkation and one embarkation at Horizon.   As large aircraft hanger-type sheds go, it's got easy pedestrian access from Gate 10, many twists and turns on the air bridge and a straightforward walk through on exit.

That's right, we are leaving from there on Fred in a couple of weeks
