I need to be able to video call home when on the ship I don’t need it for anything else 

which plan is the best for me

None of them are guaranteed to work.

Many times, connectivity is bad to non existent no matter what plan you buy.

However, at other times it’s very good.

The only guarantee or close to a guarantee would be from a wifi spot on shore.

I believe the Premium Plan is the only one that offers video call connections like Skype or Zoom or Teams.  You can also set up your phone for Wifi Calling with this plan.

How fast or slow the connection is depends on a number of things, like itinerary and distance from satellite and how many people on board are accessing the internet at any one time.

We have had zero luck with WIFI calling on our five cruises since the restart.  I remember being able to previously.  That said, we were able to use face time a few times.  Never tried Skype or anything else.
