The excursion credit requires that you book an NCL excursion from the ship, this comment doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Most (maybe all) of the available shore excursions on Harvest Caye have to be booked through NCL - ziplining, the waverunners, etc. So you can use your $50 excursion credit for that.

You do not have OBC.

 

You have a shore excursion credit that can only be used to book NCL shore excursions (not rentals like clam shells or cabanas). The shore excursion credits are use or lose per port. They can not be accumulated or used for anything other than NCL shore excursions.
