Renting a car ?

Has anyone rented a car for the day in Tortola ?

 

Looking for convenient places to rent a car close to the port and any experiences in doing so....

Hertz has an office very close to the cruise dock, an easy walk. You might want to book the car ahead though as they can be on "island time" and sometimes they just don't open if no cars are reserved. If they don't expect to be there when you bring a car back they might tell you to leave the keys under the floor mat, believe it or not. :)
