Improvement in solo gathering!

I'm currently on the summit.

 

In the past, solo gatherings were listed on the daily for the day after embarkation at the Martini lounge at a certain time.

It was an awkward  and frustrating experience.

 

 Unlike ncl, it's not lead by anyone from Celebrity.

You're on your own to figure out who's there for the solo gathering and who's there to drink.

 

On my current cruise, it was held in the Sky Lounge on Day2.

It was at the same time as an another event there but the person doing the event was also the solo coordinator.

 

He designated a place (back of the room in a corner) for us and made several announcements.

He asked we say our names and where we're from then he went to host his other activity.

Then we started taking among ourselves.

 

This was much better!

At least we didn't have to fumble around trying to figure out who was a solo.

 

Hope this continues for sea days.

(Tomorrow is a port day so nothing listed for solos)

They have a solo gathering listed but this time is in the cellar masters on deck 5.

 

Will update on how it is.
