cb2367 Posted August 9, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2022 I've been on several cruises now and am scheduled for the prima in November. I've already made the final payment, but NCL sent me an offer for upgrades. Are these offers the bidding that I've seen referenced here? The email I have just has a link to start the upgrade, but they listed prices such as a balcony for $120/per person or $75 per person for an Oceanview. I'm in a studio right now. I don't think I've ever been offered the opportunity to upgrade. Are these starting prices? Would I have to pay double occupancy for upgrading? If you take the time to click the link you can see the minimum and maximum bid for each class of room. Double occupancy.
cb2367 Posted August 9, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted August 9, 2022 I didn't necessarily want to request an upgrade which is what the link is. I was interested in knowing more about it since this is the first time I've received this message.
RickDu Posted August 9, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 9, 2022 Clicking the link is not an automatic request, it simply takes you to the page where you may submit a bid. That page will also explain the process.
julig22 Posted August 9, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 9, 2022 Upgrading from a studio is new which may explain why you've not seen it before. But you do pay double your bid.
