Time from hotel to port (Athens to Piraeus)

As we have designated boarding times, does anyone know about how long it takes from Athens (hotel not the airport) to Piraeus port via taxi.  I think I am reading 15-20 minutes so just looking to confirm 😀

Depends on the time of day & where your hotel is. I’d say between 30 & 45 minutes from the centre of Athens.

Our taxi needed exactly 25 minutes. The price was 25 euros (plus 5 tip.

from airport to Athens Centre it was about 45 minutes due to heavy traffic. 
enjoy Athens , it’s so beautiful.

Traffic in the centre of Athens moves slowly - it is very congested.  The time needed would depend on where your hotel is located.  The closer to the centre the longer it will take 🙂   But yes it is a short distance easily done in 15 - 20 minutes with no traffic jams.
