Wheelchairs on Coco Cay

One of our friends on the cruise with us is in a wheelchair full-time.  From what I've read online, they do have the wheelchairs that have the big soft wheels for going in sand.  Has anyone used these?  What do we do with his wheelchair after he is transferred to the beach wheelchair?

You can either park his wheelchair where you picked up the beach chair, or you can push it along to wherever you end up settling.  I've seen people do both.
