Thank you so much for taking us along with you.  I love your live reports.

Did you happen to notice if there was a scale in the gym area?  We'll be on the Breakaway in October and DH is supposed to weigh himself every day.  Thanks!

There was a very important upgrade made to the ship last week.

NOW I know why you posted what looked like a piece of paper in the Pepsi/Coke thread. THIS IS THE BEST LOOKING PAPER I'VE SEEN ALL YEAR!!!!

Thank you! 🙂

As result of the great toilet outage a few weeks back, everyone is getting repeated reminder on what not to flush.

I guess people don’t understand that the vacuum   toilets can’t handle baby wipes and feminine products because there was a toilet outage in our part of the ship this morning.

While this is a on-off cruise for the repositioning, the schedule shows some of the entertainment onboard

We loved Lucas Bohn when we were on the Getaway years ago, highly recommend. Thanks for your live review!

We always love another BirdTravels review!   Before every cruise we like to search for your latest cruise on that ship with all of your great pictures😊

And thanks for verifying that CocaCola is now ONBOARD the Breakaway.

Have you noticed if they have Coke Zero?  (or I can be happy with Diet coke)

I will qualify this by saying that on the Breakaway, today, the first full week after switchover, they have Coke Zero.

I found it fascinating that all of the soda guns at the bars have Coke logos now. And if you were to ask for a Coke, some of the bartenders still automatically say “is Pepsi ok?” To which the reply is “no”.

The Breakaway still has the Ocean Blue take out window on the waterfront open on sea days.the Lobster Rolls are better and cheaper than the lobster and shrimp roll (lots of shrimp) at the American Diner.

Do you like meat? Then Moderno is the place for you. Servers bring rotisserie grilled skewers of meat and carve it tableside. They won’t stop until you tell them to. Dinner includes a fabulous salad bar which is worth the price of dinner without the meats (but who can give up all you can eat meats?).

Ocean Blue back in the “old days” when The Bird first sailed on the Breakaway was a managed by Iron Chef Geoffrey Zacharian. NCL has since taken over the restaurant and it has become the Seafood Restaurant on all of their new ships.

This window was my favorite place to eat on Breakaway. Lobster roll, crab tostada, and a glass of rose while watching the ocean pass by!
