LB_NJ Posted August 22, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2022 I prefer a low salt diet and generally find that cruise ships add way more salt than I like to the food. We will be in Britannia on QE. Is it better to call in advance or just ask in the dining room that they don't add any last-minute salt. Any thoughts?
exlondoner Posted August 22, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2022 Always best to call in advance. A person on a low salt diet at the next table to us once was given the menu for the next day the night before so she could request adjustments as necessary. Tonopah Posted August 22, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2022 There is a form on the website. Just fill it out and request low sodium meals.
LB_NJ Posted August 23, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted August 23, 2022 Are they completely different or the same choices with less salt?

In our friend's case, mainly the latter, though there is not a lot you can do about, say, bacon.
