Low salt?

I prefer a low salt diet and generally find that cruise ships add way more salt than I like to the food.  

 

We will be in Britannia on QE.

 

Is it better to call in advance or just ask in the dining room that they don't add any last-minute salt.

 

Any thoughts?

Always best to call in advance. A person on a low salt diet at the next table to us once was given the menu for the next day the night before so she could request adjustments as necessary.

There is a form on the website. Just fill it out and request low sodium meals.

In our friend's case, mainly the latter, though there is not a lot you can do about, say, bacon.
