Priority Disembarkation for Cunard Queens Grill

Does anyone know have experience of precisely what priority disembarkation for QG actually provides. We have a later flight departure for an upcoming trip and if possible would like to get off the ship as late as possible, but not sure if anyone has relevant experience actually doing so -or do they require prior notification of the time desired....?

Sad,y, we had our disembarkation info, on Wednesday ( trying to get rid of us?). There are numerous slots to tick for Grill passengers, apart from the self disembarkation times which start around 7.30am. You have to tick two slots as 'slots are limited' but slightly arrogantly, I just ticked the first slot as I would hope we’d get it.

We were given an early  slot on the assumption that QG wanted to be first, just rang up and asked to have last slot , no problem.  Lazy breakfast then off at our leisure. 

 

I think it's only problem if there's too many wanting first slots, not much competition to be last.

Think it was 9.30 we got off.
