wmakayu Posted August 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2022 Hi Everyone! With the airports being crazy right now, I decided to travel with just a carry-on. I wanted to see if I could pack fewer clothes and do a hand wash in the sink. I'm Does anyone know the sinks had built in stoppers so I could wash my clothes? julig22 Posted August 27, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2022 Pretty sure every cabin I've ever stayed in on a NCL ship has had a stopper. But the sinks can be pretty shallow. You might also consider using a dry bag, like used for camping/boating - they come in lots of different sizes and you can fill it with water/detergent and shake it to wash clothes. Also, the ships will run a laundry special mid-way through the cruise, $29 for whatever you can stuff in the bag they give you. Or bid on a club balcony suite - you'll get laundry for free! 1
kochleffel Posted August 27, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2022 As of 2018, there were stoppers. The sinks in studios aren't large but if you don't need to wash anything bulky it will be OK. I packed light (but checked a bag anyway) because I had dislocated my shoulder just before that cruise.
