Liberty Amplification

Now that cruising is seemingly back to 100% and the cruise lines are making money again, has anyone heard any rumblings about resuming the Royal Amplifications? Liberty of the Seas was supposed to be amplified during in 2020/2021, but obviously that got canceled. 

 

Think it might happen in the next year?

I thought Explorer was to be amped in early 2023 ??? At least that's what we heard when onboard her this past March.

They maybe be making money as in no longer operating at a loss but they have $45 billion in debt that is coming due.  It will be many years before they are in the financial shape they were before the shutdown.  That's why the stock price is so low.  

 

Don't confuse operating without a loss with having excess cash on hand to pay for luxuries like amplifications.

My understanding is that the dry dock is in the schedule but RC have not confirmed what will happen during that time. It could be regular maintenance, full amplification or something in between. My guess is that it will be a refresh. I think if it was going to get more than that, RC would be selling it.
