Does anyone know the dates of the Slot Tournaments on the Rotterdam for Spring 2023?  Would they impact the non-participating cruisers?

The slot tournaments in the gray graphic below are regular tournaments that should have little to no effect on your cruise. The $25,000 tournaments will be busier. I am not sure how they would impact your cruise. If you like the casino the machines get significantly more play and consequently hit more.

Thanks for the information.  I was considering the Rotterdam January 25, 2023 cruise and was worried that it would be more crowded on the ship or maybe have special events. Also, I remember in the past they put extra slot machines in the Ocean Bar.  Not sure if they would again.  Would it be better to pick another date?

Last I heard when I was on the ship a few months back they were going to add 30 new slot machines. But they were not being added in the Ocean Bar. However as we all know with HAL things change. This is a call you are going to have to make.

I am going on these dates and did not know about the slot tournament.

I once did Canada on HAL and there was a poker tournament.  We did have some venues closed, and people did not adhere to dress codes at all.  (This was maybe 15 years ago and the dress code was different).

Poker can be held anywhere on the ship, it’s more mobile then slots, so I don’t think it will interfere with the cruise.
