Hey all! I set sail in three days on my first cruise on the AOS out of PR. I have been reading the boards for a while trying to pick up as many pointers/tips as I can. If you can please post what you think is useful information as it will be greatly appreciated.

The most important info I can give--relax, go with the flow, and have a blast!!!!!!

I am sitting in my office in the Boston snow and I am so jealous!

 

A few things to remember for your 1st cruise:

 

*Bring a carry on bag with your bathing suits and dinner attire - your bags may not arrive until after dinner so you want to be prepared for everything

*Bring shampoo and conditioner - ship shampoo is awful

*Bring plenty of one dollar bills

*Bring your own sunscreen - expensive on board

*Get your ice show tickets early and soda cards the first day

I am really jealous so have fun!!!! I have always wanted to do the AOS...

I'm jealous too!

I was on the AOS for the January 29th sailing and we had a fantastic time!

As you can see, we are booked on her again for next year :D

Hey. I too am on my 4th cruise in 3 days! I am really anxious just like you. The best thing to remember is to allow yourself plenty of time, dont rush, double check everything and relax and have a good time. Also, Pack half the clothes and double the money! Have a great cruise. I know I will.:p

Well 6 hrs till flight leaves and 2 hrs till I have to pick up my friend for the ride to the airport so I guess I'll get a little shuteye. I will let everybody know how it went when I get back.
