Ft Lauderdale Airport - Uber/Lyft Questions

Is there a location for Uber/Lyft at the airport? Do I need to pre-book or are cars waiting?

Which - Uber or Lyft? Going to Miami and Bright Line or bus is not an option.

used to be able to get Uber discount codes that helped us both - Anyone?

Both Uber and Lyft service the FLL airport - no need to pre-book as cars are waiting.

Where is the Uber waiting area if we don't pre-arrange a pick-up?  Is it in front of luggage pick-up or do they have a special area?  How do I know if one is waiting for a pre-arranged fare?

When we arrived at FLL in March we used the Uber app and ordered a car after we got our luggage. We only had to wait 10 minutes after getting to the ride share area.

Ride-Sharing Pick-Up and Drop-Off Locations

Ride-Sharing is prearranged ground transportation through a smartphone application. Ride-Sharing Companies can pick up and drop off Look for the curbside signage for Ride Sharing with a cell phone image. These pickup locations at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) are positioned between terminals 1 and 2 and 3 and 4, as indicated by the blue elliptical symbol on the map below.

Pick-Up Locations

The designated pick-up area for Ride Sharing is only available on the lower (arrival) level of FLL. Look for the curbside signage for Ride Sharing with a cell phone image. These pick-up locations are positioned between terminals 1 & 2 and 3 & 4, as indicated by the blue elliptical symbol on the map below. (Map)

Ride Sharing is located between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2

Terminal 1: When leaving Terminal 1, turn to the right and follow wayfinding signage

Terminal 2: When leaving Terminal 2, turn to the left and follow wayfinding signage

Ride Share is located between Terminal 3 and Terminal 4

Terminal 3: When leaving Terminal 3, turn to the right and follow wayfinding signage
