Recent cruisers...Is the Starbucks back open?

Hi all! When we cruised in March 2022 the Starbucks at the port looked like it should be open but it was closed with no sign or anything. I wasn't sure if it was temporary or permanent.

The reason I am asking is because I collect the mugs and I saw a bunch of Turks & Caicos mugs and I was soo sad the store wasn't open. We will be back there Dec 2022 on the Mardi Gras for Christmas and I was just really hoping it was open again so I could get my mug.

Yes.  In the port shopping complex.

There are a couple of guys I follow on YouTube and they posted that the Starbucks is open just about a week ago.  Not cheap though.  He said a Frappucino was $9.

 

What is special about the mugs, if you don't mind me asking.

Starbucks has a line of mugs for places you visit. So people collect them. I have one from Curaçao that I got at the Starbucks there. It’s similar to collecting fridge magnets or other similar items from your vacations. A lot of people go out of their way to get one from their favorite destination.

Thanks! No Frappuccino's for me, I'm there strictly for the mug. I collect them 🙂
