Virtuosa Gala Nights

Hi, we have a 3 night cruise coming up aboard MSC Virtuosa.  Can anyone please tell me if there will be a gala evening?  I have looked but can't find the answer anywhere!

 

If there is would we be allowed in the MDR without it?  We really don't want to lug suits and long dresses sown to Southampton if not strictly necessary.

The MSC dress code is Smart Casual for all evenings, and Gala Nights are simply an opportunity for those who wish to dress up in a more 'formal' manner to do so. It will not affect entry to MDR, or any other area on the ship.

True what Hamrag said; for example I usually go with trousers and a collared shirt with sleeves and that suffixes. Let me just to add that once, for now MSC is only doing a formal night per week, you may or may not have one on your 3 nights cruise.

We would always dress smartly for dinner and although we love to dress up on Gala Night it's just not worth it on such a short cruise.

Enjoy the cruise, hopefully you will return in the future for a longer cruise.
