Sapphire Beach questions

Looking for updated info on Sapphire Beach.  We will be here in January 2023.  Need best way To go (assume taxi?) and cost of transportation from cruise port & info on beach chairs & umbrella rentals.  Umbrella mandatory for hubby!  Also, current food/drink options at beach?  Verification that public restrooms still available.  Any current indo/advice welcome!  Thanks

They have a nice pizza restaurant and are working on another restaurant that will be upstairs of the pizza place. Lots of tables and chairs at bar and pizza place.

 

Taxi prices are scheduled to increase "soon" from the current max of $12 per person each way. 

 

Sapphire is too windy for umbrellas so there may not be any for public rental. I think the cruise excursion may include one, but because of the natural shade at the beach umbrellas usually not needed. Not sure of current price for beach loungers.

 

Restrooms still small considering the size of the bar, coffee shop, and pizza place IMO.

Lounges have been $9/ea according to sources there, taxi was $10/pp each way from Havensight, perhaps that has changed?
 

Nice shaded area to the right of the rental area as you face the water…a bit rocky right there, but what magnificent island views!
