Christmas Day Port Call in Belize on Cruise

I'm considering a cruise that includes a port call in Belize on Christmas Day 2022 (Ruby Princess). I'm curious about the impact of Christmas holiday on excursions available in Belize. If you have any insight or information I'd be pleased to have it.

We are booked on that cruise and I'm here looking for something to do as well 🙂  We've been to all the places a few times already and not water people - so not finding much - so far 🙂

A Sunday port stop?

 

Generally many tourist oriented place remain open during Belizean holidays.  But banks and local oriented businesses tend to close down in the week before.

 

Best bet is to head to St John's for a Christmas service.  Or if the BRAM celebration is being held.

 

Over on Ambergris Caye (water taxi ride) there's shopping and festival food at the Truck Stop.
