LImom Posted September 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2022 I have a question for anyone who has sailed after the change in US embarkation (after Sept 6) not requiring a covid test but stopping in a Canadian port, which you need a negative test result . I know that you need to fill out the ArrivCan app and take an appropriate covid test, but by whom and where is your covid test looked at and or uploaded? It will be checked by a cruise line agent prior to boarding the ship and used in the maritime declaration of health submitted by the ship to Canadian authorities for clearance to enter Canada.
Rare 3rdGenCunarder Posted September 15, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2022 Although your cruise line may have dropped testing for some itineraries, they will require it for Canada. You have to test before you board the ship. Check with your cruise line for details on timing. IIRC, ArriveCAN wants you to upload vaccine record, but not your test results.
