Conditions if boarding denied

Can anyone clarify - when I read the ambassador conditions re being refused boarding due to a postive LFT at the port or before - it seems that no refund or rebooking option is given and it’s up to you to claim refunds via insurance policy.

is this correct ?

It’s up to the individuals to claim refunds via their insurance company.

P&O have recently changed their rules from giving fcc to claim from insurer.

Thanks Phil. Hadn’t seen the change.

Also p&o testing changed to “recommended” and no test certificate required on majority of holidays.

Marella still have free changes if unable to travel up to end of October- so maybe that will change.

It looks like all the cruise lines are reverting to pre-covid protocol, we have a long cruise to the Caribbean in Nov with P&O and have to have a witnessed PCR, not sure what Ambassador are doing with their 42 night to Caribbean in Jan
