Brooklyn terminal to JFK

We get off MSC on a Thursday morning. I heard this is at the Brooklyn terminal. 

Our flight is out of JFK just after 1pm. Trying to figure out our options to get to the airport JFK and what they may cost.

Taxi, Uber, a shuttle or what is available? And if they are readily available. We always do self disembark early.

There are usually plenty of taxis at Brooklyn cruise terminal on debarkation days -  probably about $40-$50 to JFK.

I'm surprised that you're disembarking in Brooklyn because it's very unusual for anything but a Cunard or Princess ship to disembark there, although in reality it makes little difference whether you're disembarking in Manhattan or Brooklyn.

Taxis and Uber are readily available at both cruise terminals and you should easily be able to make your 1 pm flight.

As I'm writing this, estimated fare for an UberX from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal to JFK is about $70,  and about $85 from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal to JFK. Actual Uber fares can vary widely based on demand and a cruise ship arrival creates a higher demand and likely higher fares.

 

Taxi fare from Brooklyn Cruise Terminal to JFK is on the meter so is dependent on route mileage and traffic, but on average should be in the $50 range plus tip. From Manhattan to JFK taxis are a $52 flat rate plus a couple of dollars in surcharges plus tolls, if any, and tip.
