Thrill Theater?

I just noticed this on the Horizon deck plans. The Carnival site has very little info and it seems to be shrouded in mystery, but the site does say they have 17+ movies. Sounds spicy. 
 

Has anybody spent money on this?

Not on the Horizon, but I went to a few films on the Breeze. There is nothing spicy about the Thrill Theater (unless it's undergone a major change). It's short films with moving seats and other effects like water and wind.

 

My youngest was under 17 at the time so only my son and husband went to the 17+ movies and they are scarier than the regular films.

It was fun, a 4D type movie experience like at an amusment park- 17+ was just horror films) but it was also closed for a long time and the theater on the Breeze became a bar adjacent to the non-smoking casino so it's not there any longer. It might not be re-opened on the other ships even if it's showing as still there.

Is it open? It was closed on vista last year. I hope they do keep it. I enjoyed it on vista and breeze.

It’s starting to sound like it’s not open. I’m not sure if it’s permanently closed, but it’s a bummer.

It was a nice thing to do on a rainy sea day morning without blowing two hours in the imax.

It was still closed in May on the Horizon!

Just off the Horizon today - there were no listings for Thrill Theater on the Hub and every time I went by there were no choices for it.
