wowzz Posted September 17, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2022 Might be worth asking on the Carnival board as well.
Aulanis Posted September 17, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2022 What questions did you have? Is it mainly about the ship or cruising from Dover?

swansea_lad Posted September 17, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted September 17, 2022 Worth considering for a first time cruiser? I was looking at a budget cruise line like MSC, but Carnival look good value too.

I suppose that "budget" means different things to different people, but I would put MSC alongside Costa and, to a lesser extent, Carnival as offering good value for money. We all have different criteria for our ideal cruise. For me, small is beautiful - 3000+ passengers is too many and cruises that are aimed at the family market do not appeal. But that's me, and I understand that others will disagree. Also that we all change our ideas as we get older and children leave home etc.

Mind you, if you look at the cost of the Yacht Club on MSC you are into luxury cruise line territory !
