TwoWestAussies Posted September 19, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2022 Am I doing something wrong? We recently booked a cruise with Royal Caribbean, very simple process when it came to selecting cabin and it's location, however looking at booking a cruise with Carnival for 2024, and the process is completely different, I cannot see anyway that I can select midship or even the cabin? Is this standard for Carnival to assign you a cabin vs selecting your own? I like to do all of my own bookings direct and want to avoid having to go through a travel agent.. Rare arxcards Posted September 19, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2022 I have no problem selecting our own cabin on Carnival - at least not for local departures on Splendor or Luminosa. You could also ring Carnival to book. Suss out the deck plans to decide where you want to be on the ship, then give them a call.
Rare aussielozzie18 Posted September 19, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2022 I recently booked online direct with Carnival for Luminosa. Two separate bookings and both times I could select the cabins I wanted. No issues.
