blondestickchick Posted September 19, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2022 We've long looked forward to taking this tour when we have the opportunity to visit La Ramona....first time we visited it was xo'd due to rough seas. They took us on a very enjoyable walking tour and to a small beach for snorkeling. We found THE BEST rum that you can only purchase in the DR. But they were so nice we knew we'd be back to book again....which we have. We are booked for our upcoming Horizon cruise in two weeks, but I obviously did not pay attention to our short port time (11:30a-6p) when I booked. I know the taxi ride to/from Bayahibe is 20 minutes +/- so that eats into some of your time.....has anyone booked this excursion lately with such a short port time? Were you able to enjoy everything and not feel "rushed"?
Jenner9 Posted September 25, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2022 We did this about 6 years ago. Although I dont remember our port times I do remember not being rushed. It was a great excursion. The website said it will adjust their schedule to fit port times.

gypsynjoel1 Posted December 2, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 2, 2022 I tried to book this for our cruise on Horizon next week, but they said that there was a minimum of 12 needed for the excursion to run and they didn't have enough yet. I was afraid it was too last minute to book enough people, but I would still like to do it!

Although they say they will adjust the time that is quite a bit of time to cut out.

We actually booked this for our Horizon trip (sails on the 10th) for our group of 6 and they just cancelled it due to not having enough people.
