Getting off ship in St Petersburg

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am sure this has been covered before but when we book St Petersburg tours through Alla, Denrus etc, when can get off the ship. What are the procedures? Will we have to go thru immigration? I can't find the previous thread. Thank you for your help

We got off the ship (Star Princess) last August about 7:30 am on first day. We saw some passengers got out even earlier than 7:30. The second day, you can get off as early as you want, because the ship docked overnight at St. Petersburg.

We joined Alla tour last year, and her service was superb! We first completed the application with "correct" personal infomation, and emailed back to Alla. Alla then issued us the vaild visa through email.

We had to show the immigration copy of our passport and the vaild visa (a print out from computer) at the pier. The procedure was very simple. We had no problem at all.

I believe when you join any private tour, they will inform you all the procedure again. Just follow what they advise you. You will have a lot a lot of fun in St. Petersburg:)

We all met at the disembarkation gangplank at 630 am on the day we arrived. We were one of the first ones off the ship.

thank you all for the information. What time would you suggest we disembark if our guide is to meet us at 9:00?

We got off the ship just after 7:00 am on both days. We showed immigration our passports and the tickets provided to us by Red October. Immigration stamped our passports, gave us tickets that had to be returned at the end of the day and let us through. Very simple procedure.

On the 2nd day, we went through the same procedure, but immigration didn't stamp our passport.
