Bringing wine on MSC

Can I bring wine on an MSC cruise to drink on my Royal Caribbean cruise after MSC. I'm sailing 3 night Merivglia then the next morning Jewel of the Seas. Will MSC hold the wine for me?

Yes they will hold it for you and return on the evening before the cruise ends. But if it is just one bottle they maybe let it pass anyway. Depends a lot on the motivation of the security staff.

At Port Canaveral the port security guards tend to be a bit vigilant, in our experience.  We had a bottle of prosecco that we brought with us, wrapped and with a card which was being brought onboard to go to a crewmember friend.  Security freaked out about it and confiscated it and said they'd send it to Guest Services onboard.  Good thing that's where it was going anyway 🙂
