BusyBlond Posted September 25, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2022 We are sailing on the Prima in December. Can you use your dining package for an a la cart restaurant? Specifically the Food Republic, if so, what are you allowed to order on the package?
hallux Posted September 25, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2022 This gets asked A LOT. The T&C's of the promotion even calls out Cagney's and Le Bistro (both a-la-carte), identifying specifically that only one entree is allowed for at those venues. Yes, even Food Republic. i believe you are allowed up to 4 items from the menu for each dining credit. Maybe it's two? Here's a previous thread (from May this year) specifically about FR (first result in the Google search: NCL specialty dining credit food republic)

Your dining package is good at Cagney's, Le Bistro, Onda, and Palomar where you can order appetizers, one entrée, and desserts. Your dining package can be used at Food Republic, and Namas where it is good for 4 items off the menu. We actually split our dining package when we go to Food Republic and have 4 dishes for one lunch and 4 dishes at another lunch. Your dining package is good for dinner at Hasuki where you can pick a dinner off the menu and have the chef cook it at the table.
Rare GaryWT Posted September 27, 2022 #5 Share Posted September 27, 2022 We sailed with the basic 2 meal package. We got 1 app, 1 soup or salad, 1 entree and 1 dessert. If we had ordered anything else they would have charged us for it.

They may have told you that they would have charged you for it, but they wouldn’t. The only courses which are actually restricted are entrees. If you order more than one of them then you would be charged.
