Montreal airport taxi availability

We arrive in the Montreal airport at night, around 10 pm. Where there plenty of taxis waiting for fares? Or should we pre-book a ride to the historic district near the cruise terminal? We fly in on Sunday.

It is  an International airport   there should be no problem

 

 There is always the bus that will take you to Old Montreal

Yes there were plenty of taxis. I got stuck in Montreal overnight after 2 canceled Air Canada flights. It was about the same time by the time I left the airport.  There was a specific area/line for taxis (just follow the signs). If you don't have Canadian money, ask ahead of time if they take credit cards.
