Princess platinum insurance

Considering Princess Platinum Insurance.

 

My understanding from reading the provisions of the plan is that with regards to pre existing coverage I need to pay for the plan to activate the effective date.  That way, if I get a prexisting condition before the cruise but after the effective date, I am covered?

 

Also, if I should cancel the cruise before final payment, would I receive a refund for the Platinum insurance?

Pretty sure about the first one. Pay and you're covered.

Don't know about getting premium back.

No, you will not receive a refund of your insurance.
